In the enthusiastic atmosphere of launching labor and production emulation campaigns in the early days of the new spring, on the morning of February 23rd, TNG Land Joint Stock Company held the groundbreaking ceremony for the TNG Viet Bac social housing project in Tich Luong ward, Thai Nguyen province.
The project opens up opportunities for sustainable housing for workers, thereby gradually solving the housing problem for workers and low-income earners in the context of Thai Nguyen’s rapid urbanization.

The project, spanning nearly 1.9 hectares, comprises two 22-story apartment buildings and 26 adjacent commercial townhouses, providing over 1,000 apartments ranging in size from 30 to 70 square meters, accommodating approximately 2,400 residents. The project features a comprehensively developed technical and social infrastructure, including community spaces, a kindergarten, underground parking, and landscaping. With a total investment of approximately 1,230 billion VND, it is expected to be completed within 24 months of the commencement of construction.
Notably, the TNG Viet Bac social housing project is being implemented under Thai Nguyen province’s “green channel” mechanism for social housing projects. This mechanism aims to enhance coordination among departments and agencies, shorten the time for handling administrative procedures, and create conditions for the project to be implemented early in practice; while still ensuring full compliance with legal regulations…
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Linh, Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Thai Nguyen province, said: To date, Thai Nguyen province has 13 social housing projects that have been approved for investment with over 17,000 houses. The province’s social housing development plan for the period 2026-2030 aims to build and implement 48 social housing projects, ensuring the goal of building 45,000 to 60,000 social housing units by 2030. The TNG Viet Bac social housing project is a concrete step contributing to the completion of the province’s social housing development plan for the period 2026-2030.

To ensure the project’s effective implementation, the Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Thai Nguyen province requested TNG Land Joint Stock Company to focus maximum resources, organize construction ensuring quality and labor safety, strictly comply with regulations on construction, environment, and fire prevention and control; and at the same time, fulfill commitments regarding progress, beneficiaries of social housing, and selling prices in accordance with the law.
Provincial departments and agencies, along with the People’s Committee of Tich Luong ward, closely coordinated with the investor to promptly resolve difficulties and obstacles arising during the construction process, strengthen state management, inspection, and supervision, ensuring that the project is implemented in accordance with the plan and the law, creating favorable conditions for the project to be implemented safely and on schedule.
Previously, TNG Land Joint Stock Company implemented the Dai Thang Social Housing Project in Van Xuan Ward, Thai Nguyen Province. The project has been completed and put into use, contributing to the formation of a stable residential community and supplementing the housing supply for low-income people in the locality.
