On July 18, at TNG Village Apartment, the Youth Union of TNG Company, in coordination with the Thai Nguyen City Youth Union and the Youth Union of Phan Dinh Phung Ward, organized the program “Launch of the Plastic Waste Reduction Apartment Model in Thai Nguyen City.”

At the program, residents of TNG Village and people living in the surrounding community were guided on waste sorting at source through the mGreen application. Delegates witnessed the launch ceremony of the Volunteer Youth Team for Plastic Waste Reduction of the apartment building. The Management Board of TNG Village Apartment, TNG Youth Union, and the Youth Union of Phan Dinh Phung Ward signed a commitment to implement waste sorting at source.

In addition, delegates and community members received further information from representatives of the social enterprise mGreen about the current negative impacts of plastic waste. They were also instructed on how to use and were presented with reusable products, contributing to environmental pollution reduction.

The program aims to call on young union members of Thai Nguyen City and local residents to raise awareness about the harmful effects of plastic waste. It also seeks to promote solutions such as using environmentally friendly, reusable, and biodegradable products, moving toward eliminating single-use plastic products.
