Mr. Vu Van Nam (from Hung Yen Province) and Ms. Tran Thi Chau (from Thanh Hoa Province) are among those families. After nearly 10 years working at Samsung, the couple and their child had been living in a small 15m² rental room with inadequate living conditions, making life constantly unstable.
At the end of 2025, when they received their 62m² apartment at Dai Thang Residential Area, the family entered a new chapter. No longer confined to a cramped space, they now enjoy a more spacious home where their children have better conditions for studying and growing up. Mr. Nam shared: “Having our own home has completely changed our lives. Renting was very inconvenient before, but now we have a larger and more comfortable space, and we can work with peace of mind.”
Similarly, Ms. Pham Thi Phuong (from Phu Tho Province) and her husband, Mr. Bui Manh Truong (from Nghe An Province), have also spent nearly 10 years building their lives in Thai Nguyen. During that time, renting accommodation was their only option. Although they had stable incomes, owning a commercial apartment remained out of reach. Small rental rooms and unstable living conditions had long been a burden on their young family.
At the beginning of 2026, after moving into their social housing apartment, Ms. Phuong’s family began experiencing positive changes. She said: “Before, we were always worried about housing. Now everything is more stable, and we can focus on work and taking care of our family.”
The stories of these two families clearly illustrate the transition from temporary living to true settlement and stability. Secure housing not only improves living conditions but also helps reduce financial pressure and provides workers with greater peace of mind. This is an important factor in helping employees stay committed to both their companies and the local community in the long term.

| Dai Thang Residential Area (Van Xuan Ward) is the first completed social housing project in Thai Nguyen Province, officially put into operation in October 2025. To date, 80% of the apartments have been handed over to buyers |
Dai Thang Residential Area in Van Xuan Ward is the first social housing project in Thai Nguyen Province to be completed, handed over, and put into operation since October 2025. The project includes 391 units, comprising 361 apartment units and the remainder as low-rise houses. To date, approximately 80% of the units have been handed over to buyers. For families who have already moved in, the improvements are evident: better living environments, gradually reduced living expenses, and greater stability after many years of renting.
The reality at Dai Thang Residential Area demonstrates that when policies are implemented effectively, workers become the direct beneficiaries. Beyond this project, Thai Nguyen Province is continuing to accelerate social housing development with specific targets.
In 2026, the province aims to complete more than 5,000 units, with a target of around 60,000 units by 2030. This is an important direction in realizing the Government’s policy on social welfare, especially for middle- and low-income groups.
